hacking attempts.
In order to protect your privacy and identity, information such as your name, address, social security number, credit card information, and other personal identifiers should be protected at all times.
When shopping online, make sure you are purchasing from a reputable company and paying using a secure method such as Paypal or a secure credit card.
Many credit card providers offer temporary numbers specifically for shopping online. It is important to know when and where this information can be safely distributed.
Updated anti-virus and anti-spyware as well as a secure firewall are equally crutial to mantaining digital safety. Additionally, creating a back-up of your computer information on a regular basis can help prevent future catastrophy.
